Use with ChatGPT

Connect ChatGPT to Bitrefill MCP to search for products, check prices, and make purchases directly from your conversations.

Prerequisites

• A ChatGPT account (Business, Enterprise, Edu, or Pro plan)
• A Bitrefill account

ChatGPT uses OAuth — you'll sign in to Bitrefill when you first connect. No API key needed.

Setup

Step 1: Open Connector Settings

The location depends on your plan:

Business/Enterprise/Edu:

1. Go to Settings > Workspace Settings > Apps
2. Click Create

Pro:

1. Go to Settings > Connectors
2. Click Add custom connector

Step 2: Add Bitrefill MCP

Enter the following details:

Check the box confirming you trust this application, then click Create.

Step 3: Authorize Access

ChatGPT will redirect you to Bitrefill:

1. Sign in to your Bitrefill account
2. Review the permissions requested
3. Click Approve to grant access

You'll be redirected back to ChatGPT with the connection established.

Using Bitrefill in ChatGPT

Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT to use Bitrefill tools:

"Search for Amazon gift cards in the US"

"Show me eSIM options for traveling to Japan"

"Buy a $50 Steam gift card"

ChatGPT will show tool calls before executing them. Click Confirm to proceed.

Managing Access

To revoke ChatGPT's access to your Bitrefill account:

1. Go to bitrefill.com/account/apps
2. Find the ChatGPT connection
3. Click Revoke

You can reconnect at any time by using a Bitrefill tool in ChatGPT again.

Troubleshooting

Can't find MCP settings

MCP support requires ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, Edu, or Pro plan. Free and Plus plans have limited or no MCP access. Check your account settings to verify your plan.

Authorization keeps failing

1. Clear your browser cookies for bitrefill.com
2. Try authorizing in a private/incognito window
3. Make sure you're signed in to the correct Bitrefill account

Tools not appearing after authorization

Try refreshing ChatGPT or starting a new conversation. If the issue persists, remove and re-add the connector.
